Powerboat P1
The ultimate powerboat experience
Powerboat P1 are the organisers of one of powerboating's most prestigious racing championships, holding races in six stunning locations across Europe.
The brief was to capture the energy of the weekend events by emphasising both the port-side activities and the spray-in-the-face adrenaline of P1 racing. The P1 Village includes live music, fashion shows, bars, exhibitions, hospitality and a P1 club, making the Grand Prix of the Sea a truly unique spectacle.
The graphic style is applied to posters, adverts, invitations and 48-sheet billboards prior to the event, and then signage, passes and programmes for the day itself.
To highlight the extreme racing, six different boat photographs were fused together to create a focal image. This is then complemented with duotone lifestyle images to add a little Le Mans/Steve McQueen flavour. Different colour and image combinations for the hosting country gives each event a degree of visual individuality within the Powerboat P1 brand.
